Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Westampton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to repave various streets as well as the municipal parking lot as set forth in these Specifications and shown on the Plans. In general, work includes 7,400 SY of pavement milling (2" depth); 700 SY of unclassified excavation (0"-13" depth); 3,350 SY of in place pulverization; 1,500 tons of HMA 9.5M64 surface course (2" -2.5" thick); 160 tons of HMA 12.5M64 surface course (3" thick); 120 tons of HMA 19M64 base course (5" thick); 550 SY of HMA 19M64 base repairs; 60 LF of 19" x 30" HERCP; and 2 units of inlet construction, type 'B' (0'-6' depth). Other proposed improvements include the removal and replacement of portions of existing curb and sidewalk, construction of new curbs and sidewalks, the installation of ADA compliant handicap ramps, installation of raised pavement markers and traffic signage, painting of traffic stripes and markings, resetting of castings and valve boxes, reconstruction of inlets, televising and cleaning of existing reinforced concrete pipe, replacement of bicycle safe grates and curb pieces, as well as turf restorations. This project is funded in whole or in part with funds provided by the New Jersey Department of Transportation under the Transportation Trust Fund. Award of contract shall be subject to approval by the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Township of Westampton, and must be accompanied by Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of the Township of Westampton for ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided said security need not be more than $20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract. The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the place and on or before the hour named above. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit his bid security. Bid securities will be returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders. All other bid securities will be returned within three days after awarding and signing of the contract and approval of the Contractor's Performance Bond, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays excepted. This contract is subject to the provisions of the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action Law); P.L. 2004, c.57 (Business Registration Act); and P.L. 2003, c.91 (Public Works Contractor Registration Act). Sealed bids for this project are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et seq. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders who, in the judgment of the Township of Westampton is the lowest responsible bidder and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
