Said sealed proposals shall be for the furnishing of all materials and the performance of all labor according to the drawings and specifications prepared by Fosse & Associates Architects, Inc. Architect/Engineer, For the Reitz High School Stadium Renovations Project 2025 located at 350 Dreier Blvd. Evansville, Indiana. All proposals shall be made out and submitted on a bid proposal form attached to a current General Form No 96 (which can be found at online State Form Description #52414), a bid form prescribed by the State Board of Accounts. Any bid that exceeds a sum of $5,000.00 must be accompanied by a Contractor's Financial Statement attached to the General Form 96 as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts. One General Form No. 96 will be required from any one contractor for one or more bids. All proposals shall be firm without escalator clauses. The proposal must be accompanied by a certified check made payable to the EVSC in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid or an acceptable bidder's surety bond made payable to EVSC, in a SPECIFIC AMOUNT of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Indiana. The certified check or bidder's bond shall be a guarantee that said bidder will, if the contract is awarded to him, execute within ten (10) days from the acceptance of his proposal a contract for the work bid upon, and furnish acceptable surety bonds as set forth in the specifications. However, if the contractor has not executed the contract within the ten (10) day period, or has failed to furnish acceptable surety bonds as indicated, the Board of School Trustees reserves the right to award the contract to the next higher or best bidder. All local licensing requirements must be met prior to submitting bid (Building Commissioner #812-436-7867). Inclusion of drug policy is mandatory with proposal. All persons intending to submit a bid with EVSC must comply with MBE/WBE utilization and E-Verification policy and procedures as outlined in the specifications. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. The Board of School Trustees of the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any defects or informalities if deemed by it to be for the best interest of said Board. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Renovation of Existing Concrete Bleachers. a. Remove and replace existing sidewalks. b. Partial removal of existing concrete curbs and gutters. c. Partial site and concrete bleacher demolition. d. New aluminum bleachers with galvanized steel structure. 2. New Ticket Booths. 3. New Concession Stand. 4. Press Box Renovation. 5. Mill asphalt paving and install new surface course. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.
