Questions Due from Prospective Bidder February 14, 2025 Responses to questions due February 19, 2025 All inquiries and questions concerning this RFP must be in writing (e-mail is acceptable), received in accordance with Section 1.0 Schedule of Events, and must be directed to: Gus Rojas, Budget Officer, at grojas@jeffersoncountyfl.gov. Posting of Notice of Award March 25, 2025 qualified firms or individual with the required expertise and capability to perform General Contractor Continuing Services for repairs, renovation, rehabilitation, upgrades, alterations, and new construction of County facilities, including provision of all materials, permitting, labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, fees, expertise, and services on an as needed basis for minor construction projects not to exceed $300,000. It is the County's intent to award multiple contracts. Work Orders will be assigned on a project by-project basis. Projects are not defined at this time and will be miscellaneous in scope and of varied sizes and complexities. These minor construction projects may include repairs, renovation, rehabilitation, upgrades, alterations, and new construction, including, but not limited to, patching and plumbing, carpentry, masonry, electrical and other miscellaneous repairs as directed. Work must be completed by the substantial completion date specified in the Work Order. Funds for work issued under this contract may be derived from state and/or federal grants, therefore, the successful contractor must comply with all state and federal laws, regulations, and requirements. Liquidated damages shall be determined on a project-by-project basis and identified in the Work Order. The Initial Term of the Contract shall be for a period of three (3) years provided both parties are in agreement and there are no changes to the terms and conditions. Price escalations will not be considered at the end of each year. The County shall reserve the right to terminate the Contract in accordance with the provisions under the Terms & Conditions herein. The contract may be renewed for two (2) additional 1-year renewal terms, at the County's sole discretion, for a total maximum term of five (5) years. The maximum total value of all contracts issued pursuant to this RFP shall not exceed $20,000,000 to all vendors over a maximum five (5) year period. Jefferson County will not be held to any minimum/maximum quantities or dollars during the term of Contract. Funds for this contract may be derived from state and/or federal grants, therefore, the successful contractor must comply with all state and federal guidelines. Proposers agree to these conditions by submitting a proposal.
