The City of Bowling Green, KY is soliciting proposals from qualified general contractors for a design/build project to renovate the kitchen at Fire Station #4, located at 835 Morgantown Road in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The existing kitchen is original to the building and in disrepair. The area is approximately 17 x 30. Also, an irrevocable letter of credit from a state or federally chartered bank, may be substituted as a form of a Bid Bond. The Bid Bond, or substitution security, shall be in the amount of five (5) percent of the total proposal cost Liquidated damages will be assessed at $1,400.00 per calendar day after the expired contract time with no exceptions. This contract shall be completed within 30 calendar days after materials have arrived. The City of Bowling Green, Kentucky reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received, and to select that bid which it determines to be in its best interest.
