The City of Folsom, through the Community Development Department's Building Division and the Fire Department, requests proposals from firms desiring to provide plan review, permitting, and inspection services. Qualified consulting firms shall possess experienced staff to perform inspection, permitting and plan review services for Fire, Life Safety, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Structural, Green Building, and Energy Code requirements under the California Building Code and City of Folsom Amendments. The City has permanent staff that performs most of these services, however qualified consultants may be utilized when demand is high. With the potential for a large volume of projects, the need for additional assistance is anticipated to keep up with set review timelines and inspection services. The selected firm(s) will provide staff augmentation services for a five-year contract period.
