Nutrient Reduction Wetland Project Section 16, Township 88 North, Range 34 West Calhoun County, Iowa In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation and grading, along with tile and outlet structures, riprap placement, and seeding. The project also incluudes installation of a wet well and pump system. This project includes around 118,600 cubic yards of earthwork, 2.756 linear feet of various tile installation, one aluminimum toe wall, 653 tons of riprap along with 60 tons of erosion stone, and 20.6 acres of seeding. The estimated construction cost range for this project is $800,000 to $900,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and shall include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Division of Labor. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Division reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and irregularities.
