Pre-Bid Qualifications: All bidders shall be required to file or have on Bidder's Proof of Responsibility form with with the the Engineering Division, not less than 5 days prior to the time of opening of these bids. Only bidders who have demonstrated their qualifications to perform the work will be permitted to bid. Submit proposals in person or by mail addressed to City of Fond du Lac, P.O. Box 150, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, 54936- 0150. Identify "SEALED BID City-Wide Tree Planting Program" on the face of each proposal envelope .A summary of the proposals will be made available. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a proposal guaranty, payable to the City of Fond du Lac, in the amount of 5% of the gross bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted as the successful bid, the bidder will execute and file the proposed contract and performance bond within 10 days after award of contract The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid deemed for the best int interests of the City and to waive any irregularities.
