Contract Description: This Project Includes the Construction of a New International Terminal Building That Will Be Attached the Main Terminal Building. Work Includes Site Work, Excavation, Selective Demolition, Construction, and Fueling System Work. Work Will Be Divided Up Into Different Bid Packages. Project Completion: the Number of Consecutive Calendar Days the Contractor Has Available to Substantially Complete the Project, Excluding Punch List Items, Varies Depending on the Bid Package (BP). See Below List by Bid Package: BP 2 (New Concourse E): Phase 1: 43 Calendar Days BP 2 (New Concourse E): Phase 2: 608 Calendar Days BP 3 (Fueling): Phase 1: 43 Calendar Days BP 3 (Fueling): Phase 2: 260 Calendar Days Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (Dbe) Participation Goal for This Project is 25 Percent for Bp 2 (New Concourse E). Dbe Participation Goal for Bp 3 (Fueling) Work is 0 (Zero) Percent. To Be Considered for This Project All Required Dbe-14 Forms Shall Be Completed and Signed by Prime and Submitted as Indicated in Invitation to Bid. Bidder's Attention is Called to the "notice of Requirements for Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity" (Executive Order 11246), Contained in the Bid Documents, Which Set Forth, in Part, Goals and Timetables for the Employment of Women and Minorities in the Project Area. Prime Contractors Shall Be Qualified Prior to Submitting a Bid in Accordance With Chapter 43 of Milwaukee County Ordinance. Bidders shall submit the completed Subcontractor-Supplier Information Entry with the Bid. Failure to submit this information with Bid may result in rejection of the Bid as non-responsive. A 10 percent bid bond or certified check is required with bid. The low, responsive, responsible bidder will be recommended for contract award. Owner reserves right to reject bid, to waive informalities in bid or to accept bid which will be in best interest of Owner. Base Bid shall remain open to acceptance for a period of 224 days after bid due date. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
