Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Yuba City, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.

The Project consists of: The contractor is to provide all labor equipment and materials to complete the removal and replacement of a standing seam metal roofing system. The metal replacement will consist of removing an existing standing seam roofing system, disposal, and installing a new one. The Bidder is required to have been prequalified by the District. In addition, all subcontractors with the following license classifications that intend to bid as a first-tier subcontractor to a general contractor (prime contractor) that is bidding directly to the District are required to have been prequalified by the District: A, B, C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46. Responsible Bidders Date = (Approved List of Responsible Bidders Announced) 02/12/2025 Submission Cut Off Date = (Deadline for Application submission to Quality Bidders) 02/05/2025 Each bid must conform and be fully responsive to all documents comprising the Contract Documents. Each bid shall be made on the Bid Proposal Form prepared by the District in the Contract Documents. The District will permit the substitution of appropriate securities in lieu of retention amounts from progress payments in accordance with Public Contract Code section 22300. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Proposal Form, as a guarantee that the Contractor will, within seven (7) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed or other direction, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the Services as stipulated in the bid. In addition, a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Payment Bond will be required of the successful bidder. Each bid must include the name and location of the place of business of each subcontractor who shall perform/work on this Contract in excess of one-half of one percent (1/2 of 1%) of the bid price. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening for bids except as permitted pursuant to Public Contract Code Sections 5100 et seq. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. Question Deadline: 02/10/2025 at 10:00 AM PT
