The University of California, Santa Cruz, is soliciting a written response from qualified firms to provide LEED Administration services on UC Santa Cruz Student Housing West - Phase 2 Heller Development, Project #4204. This phase of the project will deliver approximately 1,200 beds for continuing upper division undergraduate students on approximately 13-acres near the West campus entrance. Under a design build project delivery model, the scope of services for the LEED Administration is to review, assist, monitor and document the targeted LEED Gold certification starting with the University's Master Architect team's deliverables and continue to coordinate, track, review and log documentation for the University's and their Design Builder. UC Santa Cruz is requesting written responses to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the selection of a firm to provide LEED Administration services during the design and construction phases of Student Housing West - Phase 2 Heller Development, Project # 4204 at UC Santa Cruz.. This project's estimated construction cost is currently $430m. Based on the qualifications presented in response to the RFQ, the University will select a firm best able to provide services for the project. The initial term of the Agreement shall be three (3) years and may be extended for up to two (2) additional one (1) - year terms based upon the same terms and conditions, and by mutual agreement. Consulting services will be provided under the University of California's Professional Services Agreement (PSA). When selected, the LEED Administrator must be able to start work immediately and provide staff support in alignment with the specific project schedule. Interested firms will be required to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) and other documentation demonstrating related experience using standard forms provided by the University.
