Separate bids shall be solicited and contracted for: General, Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical (HVAC) Construction. Work will include but not be limited to: a new 12,000 sf hangar, concrete work, wall partitions, restroom, break room, conference room, pilot office, storage areas, exterior work, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, parking lot pavement and all related work. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, payable to the order of the County of Indiana, or a bid bond in the amount of not less than 10 percent of the total amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful Contractor. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 90 calendar days after the date of receiving bids. Work on this project is expected to start in 2025 and be completed in 2026 with a 240-day completion period. The County of Indiana reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to readvertise.
