This project requires 23% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on April 30, 2025, at 1:30 PM at the Region Five/District Nine Office in Carbondale. Phase I/II engineering services are required to perform work associated with the reconstruction and resurfacing of IL 146 from IL 127 in Jonesboro to Old US 51 in Anna. Reconstruction of IL 146 includes pavement replacement, curb & gutter, sidewalk, bicycle accommodations, entrance and sideroad improvements, storm sewer, traffic signals, and pavement markings. Phase I is expected to include the preparation of a Project Report (anticipated to be a categorical exclusion), a location/drainage study, environmental impacts and coordination, data collection, cost estimates, typical sections, and pickup surveys as needed.
