Renovation of a fire / police facility in Jonesboro, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.
The City of Jonesboro will receive sealed bids for installation of a new metal roof on the Jonesboro Fire Station located at 102 W. Market St., Jonesboro, IL 62952. Requests for sealed bid paperwork can be found at Jonesboro City Hall. Instructions for obtaining more information or paperwork include contacting Jonesboro City Hall at (618)833-2712. The contractor shall be responsible for the installation ofnew 29-gauge GRIB metal panels (Fire Chiefs choice of color). The contractor shall also be responsible to furnish all materials and perform all labor necessary for the completion of To install new 29- gauge GRIB metal panels roofing system to the manufacturer's specifications (Fire Chiefs choice of color) Install 1x4 furring strips over existing shingles Install all new post trim Install all new ridge cap Install new rake trim All work to be completed in a workman like manner according to standard practices Upon completion work site should be free of all debris and the area should be canvassed with a magnet to insure that the site is free from any loose debris The finished roofing system must provide a minimum of a twenty (20) year manufacturers warranty The finished roofing system must provide a minimum of a twenty (20) year manufacturer's warranty Questions related to the proposed work should be directed at Tim Bowen.
