All Service and Materials for Cleaning of Commission Toll Plazas and Ohio State Highway Patrol Posts 89, 90, and 91. The Small Business Enterprise Goal (including SBE, DBE and EDGE) is 3%. If a Bidder has a question or inquiry concerning the Bidding Documents or concerning any technical requirements relating to the equipment or services to be furnished, inquiry should be made to (purchasing@ohioturnpike.org). Responses will be provided to all Bidders communicating an interest in the Bid Invitation. Inquires may be made up until the day prior to Bid Opening, subject, however, to the provisions contained in the Instructions to Bidders (Part 2) at Section B concerning the furnishing of Addenda and Section J covering the Opening of Bids. If the Contract has been awarded, all inquiries should be directed to the Commission's Chief Engineer, at the Commission's Administration Building (440) 234-2081. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Combination Ten Percent (10%) Bid Guaranty and Fifty Percent (50%) Performance Bond applicable to the total Contract value, or a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit on a solvent bank, payable to the order of the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission, in an amount not less than Ten Percent (10%) of the total amount bid. These Bid Guaranty requirements are in conformance with the Ohio Revised Code Section 5537.07. (See Instructions to Bidders (Part 2), Sections C and E for submittal of Bid Guaranty). The award of the Contract, if any award be made, will be to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder therefor whose Bid complies with all the prescribed requirements. The Commission reservesthe right to reject any and all Bids and to waive minor technicalities or minor irregularities.
