**As of May 09,2025 the project was awarded to Jordan Construction of Hilton Head, Inc. but the awarded amount is not available.** The Town of Bluffton is soliciting competitive sealed bids from experienced and qualified Offerors to provide water and mainline sewer installation, including manholes and dewatering apparatuses, and connections in a three-phased approach. This contract will be subject to the requirements of the U.S. EPA Clean Water Act, 319 grant through the SC Department of Environmental Services, including Disadvantaged Business Enterprise good faith efforts. All iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in the project must be produced in the United States in accordance with the Build America, Buy America Act. The general scope of services includes the following: 1. Mobilization, demo of existing asphalt, clearing and erosion control, and traffic control 2. Site work - 6" graded aggregate, flowable fill and 2" asphalt 3. 8' water line and associated service connections 4. Sanitary sewer lines, connections, and septic tank abandonment 5. Final as-built survey, bonds, insurance Question Deadline 02/18/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Offerors are required to submit questions Online. BONDS Bid Security, made payable to the Town, shall be in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Security shall be a Bid Bond issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in the state where the project is located, and shall have attached Power of Attorney certifying bond signee. Bid bonds shall be provided electronically with the bid package. The successful Offeror must be able to provide a Payment Bond and Performance Bond within 10 days of notice to award. Bond shall be in the amount of 100% of the value of the base bid. The Town reserves the right to waive any irregularities, informalities or technicalities and may, at its discretion, request a new solicitation. The Town may cancel this solicitation in part or in its entirety if it is in the Town's best interest to do so.
