This project will consist of, but not be limited to, labor and material to Construct a new mezzanine within the existing armory to provide space for storage lockers to be used by soldiers. The scope of this project includes modification and relocation of any systems and infrastructure required to be relocated in support of the construction of the mezzanine and new systems required to support the mezzanine and other work indicated on the drawings by Colby Company, LLC dated July 2023. The State of VT Military Department is soliciting bids for the Vergennes Armory Mezzanine project, Vergennes, Vermont Bids requiring bid bonds must submit scanned bid bond with bid proposal. Contractor awarded the project is required to submit the original bid bond to the Project Manager as soon as they have been notified of the awarded project. Bids must also include a completed Certificate of Compliance, Certificate regarding use of contract funds for lobbying, and Debarment and Non-Collusion Certification. Email the bid form contained herein and the required completed forms to mil.bidproposals@vermont.gov and copy the project manager. Include the project name and name of bidder on the subject line. The project will be at 37 Monkton Rd, Vergennes, VT 05491. A criminal background check is required for all personnel if not presently on file with the BCE and current within one year. Upon award, all employees expected to work on this project must submit Base Access Registration/Record Check Form, provided by Project Manager for VTARNG Security Staff to run required background check. Form shall be submitted in PDF format by email to Project Manager. For contractors that require access to a VTARNG facility or installation: Contractor and all associated sub-contractors employees shall comply with adjudication standards and procedures using the National Crime Information Center Interstate Identification (NCIC-III) and Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB) (Army Directive 2014-05/AR 190-13), and applicable installation, facility and area commander installation/facility access, and local security policies and procedures (provided by a government representative).
