The Cortland County Highway Department, Cortland, New York will receive sealed bids for the following Materials and /or Services: Abrasives for Snow and Ice Control Bituminous Concrete Crushed Stone Geotextile Heavy Rock Rip Rap Highway Aggregates Stone Filling Materials Transit Mix Concrete / Precast Concrete Blocks ULS Diesel 15PPM Fuel Unleaded Gasoline (87 Octane) Questions regarding the Bid Specifications may be directed to Alan Ricottilli, Deputy Superintendent of Highways, at (607) 753-9377 or aricottilli@cortlandcountyny.gov The County of Cortland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bids, and to award the Contract in the County's best interest. The County reserves the right to make the award within forty-five (45) days after the date of the bid opening, during which period bids shall not be withdrawn. Unless specified otherwise in the Bid Specifications for a particular Material or Service item being bid, the awarded bid prices shall remain in effect from April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026, or until 30 days after receipt of written notice of the Vendor's intent to cancel the bid pricing, or until 30 days after public notice is published by the County of Cortland soliciting new bids for the particular Materials or Services item. Certain bid item specifications contain a bid award / contract bid pricing extension clause for up to three (3) additional one-year periods, upon mutual agreement of the vendor and the County of Cortland.
