The Contractor will perform demolition of the existing picnic area, construct sewer, water and electrical service extensions and tie the same to the new building, provide grading, foundation preparation, structure backfill, grading, utility connections, sidewalk work at the new restroom and other specified park locations, and other incidentals to make the restroom facility completely operable. Jefferson Park - The work to be performed consists, in general, of the construction and placing of pre-engineered, pre-manufactured flush toilet restroom building. The Contractor will perform demolition of the existing restroom building and associated sidewalk and foundations, identifying utility items and stubbing them out for new connection; provide temporary electrical service for lighting, provide temporary irrigation facilities, foundation preparation, structure backfill, grading, electrical service extension, utility connections, sidewalk work at the new restroom and other specified park locations, reconstruction of an ADA access ramp, and other incidentals to make the restroom facility completely operable. The Stiern restroom project was previously bid, and all bids were rejected due to budget constraints. The project has been revised utilizing a different restroom building manufacturer. In addition, the City of Bakersfield will be purchasing the restroom buildings directly with the Contractor providing the installation. This purchase price was based on the cost to the City for printing each complete set. This is a non-refundable purchase. the person requesting a copy of the documents will be responsible for payment of any shipping and mailing costs.
