The University may reject bids, in accordance with applicable law. The University requires bidders to make a good faith effort to provide opportunities for SBE businesses to participate in the performance of this contract. It is William Paterson Universitys policy to meet the State goal, referenced in N.J.A.C. 17:14-1.1 et seq , of 25% to be awarded to small businesses registered in the category of businesses whose gross revenues do not exceed the applicable annual revenue standards. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bidders are responsible to check the Capital Planning webpage periodically for the updates. Bidders must be pre-qualified under N.J.S.A. 52:35-2 with a classification of C009-General Construction/Alterations & Additions at the time the bid is due and must submit bid security as provided in the Instruction to Bidders. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with the N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. Public Works Contractor Registration Act. No bidder may withdraw its bid for sixty (60) calendar days after the bid opening.
