Site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Independence, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; for asbestos abatement for a educational facility; and fitness / recreation center.
This project consists of the Abatement and Remediation of Advanced Career Center Gym and Kitchen BID BOND: A Bid Guarantee equivalent to 5% of the bid price consisting of a firm commitment, such as a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check, money order or other negotiable instrument, shall accompany each bid as assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of his bid, execute such contractual documents as may be required and within the time specified. PERFORMANCE BOND: A performance bond of not less than 100% of the contract price shall be executed to assure the contractors faithful performance of the contract. PAYMENT BOND: A payment bond of not less than 100% of the contract price shall be executed to assure payment as required by law of all persons supplying labor and material in the performance of the work provided by the contract. Completion Time: The bidder hereby agrees to commence work under this contract upon receipt of Notice to Proceed letter from the owner within_35_calendar days. A Corporate Resolution & Bid Bond must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
