Remodeling of a multi-residential development in Independence, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.

Separate sealed bids are requested for the UNIT MODERNIZATIONS (New HVAC Installation Phase 2) Project, Project No. LA-48-P099-501-25, for the Independence Housing Authority. Bids must be submitted by contractors licensed in Building Construction under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2163 and in compliance with LA R.S.38:2212 (A)(1)(c). Each bidder is required to deposit security in the amount of 5% of the total bid, in the form specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Bonafide prime bidders must obtain original bidding documents from the Alliance Design Group with a $50.00 deposit per set, refundable if documents are returned in good condition within 10 days of bid receipt. The OWNER reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any bids. The project is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and requires compliance with employment conditions, minimum wage rates, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, certification of Non-Segregated Facilities, and Executive Order 11246, as amended. No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five days after receipt, except as allowed by law. The work intended under this section ofthe Specification comprises the furnishing of all labor and materials necessary for the removal of existing central gas fired furnaces, and the complete installation ofnew central gas fired furnaces with air conditioning as identified in drawings. This shall include all equipment, piping, ductwork, controls, accessories, etc., as indicated or implied by the Drawings and otherwise required to provide a fully functional system, and as herein specified.
