Sealed bids are invited for the Independence High School SPED Room Renovation at 270 Tiger Ave., Independence, LA 70443. Complete bidding documents are available in electronic form from City Blueprint. All bids must include bid security of five percent (5%) of the base bid and any alternates, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids are only accepted from contractors licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Classification 1 - Building Construction. Withdrawal of bids is limited to the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214, and no bid may be withdrawn for forty-five (45) days after receipt. The owner may reject any or all bids for just cause. All bidders must comply with La. R.S. 38:2212(B)(5) and requirements stated in the bidding documents. Printed copies of bidding documents must be arranged and paid for by the plan holders themselves.
