Peshu Napeu wind farm project: installation of 50 wind turbines. TIMELINE: Contract for project management services was awarded to Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton & Cie in 2025. Reference number: 20046506. Project is undergoing an environmental assessment. Public consultation is scheduled for 2026. Construction of access roads is expected to start in 2027. Foundation for installation of the wind turbines is scheduled for 2028. Delivery, assembly and installation of turbines is anticipated in 2029. Note: The contract for energy and electricity supply was awarded to La Société pour le dévelopement du parc éolien Peshu Napeu by Hydro-Quebec on May 17, 2024. The total project budget is estimated at $1,000,000,000.
