This work consists of 157 curb ramps, 8 signalized intersection upgrades, 34,000 tons of HMA pavement and 287,000 linear feet of thermoplastic traffic stripes. This contract is funded by the New Jersey Department of Transportation under the Local Aid Program. In accordance with PL Section 9 of P.L. 1995, c.108 (c.27:1B-25.1) For all projects funded, in whole or part, out of funds from the local aid program, each bidder on a construction contract valued at more than $5,000,000 shall be prequalified by the New Jersey Department of Transportation. The following prequalification class codes are eligible to bid this project: 3- Grading & Paving, 3A-Grading & Bituminous Paving, 5-Heavy Highway, or 25-Milling.
