The following bid opportunity has been posted: Supply and Deliver Chemicals for Warren brook Pool and Colonial Park Spray Park Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashiers check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000, payable unconditionally to the Somerset County Park Commission. Successful bidder shall simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the acceptable bid as security for the faithful performance of this contract. Upon acceptance of the work by the Somerset County Park Commission, the contractor shall submit a maintenance bond (N.J.S.A. 40A:1-16.3) in an amount not to exceed 100% of the project. Question Deadline 03/28/2025 Every request for an interpretation shall be in writing, addressed to the Purchasing Agent, referencing the Contract Name and Contract Number in the subject line, at PurchasingDiv@co.somerset.nj.us. In order to be given consideration, written requests for interpretation and or clarification must be received at last three (3) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids. The Somerset County Park Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive identified irregularities and technicalities, and to award in whole or in part to the lowest responsible bidder, if it is in the best interest of the Somerset County Park Commission to do so.
