Swinerton Builders and Gensler Architects are teaming up for a Progress Design-Build Tenant Improvement for a new Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Police Department Headquarter facility. The scope of work for this project involves demolition of interior member like doors, interior walls, and fixtures along with partial MEPFS removal. Once demolition is complete, construction will consist of seismically upgrading the building, adding micro piles and viscous dampers along with refurbishing the interior space tailoring it to BART PDs needs. 45% DBE Participation for Steel scope 15% DBE Participation for Micropiles scope The location of the existing building that will be ongoing construction is located at 2000 Broadway Street in Oakland, 94612, California. RFIS DUE: FEBRUARY 17, 2025, 4 PM. We reserve the right to require all subcontractors to furnish 100% performance and payment bonds from a U.S.
