As of 4/11/2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award was not determined. Approximately 2,400 feet of 16-inch water main along Old Lockhart Road, east of Ruby Hills Road . The work included in this bid consists of (1) Phase 2 of the Goodnight Ranch Phase Two Waterline Improvement utility project which is the first phase of an approved Service Extension Request (SER) No. 4128 and involves the construction of approximately 1,600 linear feet of 16-inch water main (The first 1,900 linear feet of this main was constructed and transferred to Austin Water in 2020 and is NOT included with this bid) AND (2) the offsite waterline improvements associated with the Old Lockhart Apartments site plan and SER-5706 involving the construction of approximately 800 linear feet of 16-inch water main. The Old Lockhart Apts waterline scope extends the 16" main an additional 852 LF beyond the limits of the Goodnight Ranch Phase 2 plans. This extension is intended to provide service to the private apartment project, and to extend the public main further down the Old Lockhart ROW. Please see sheet 45 of the approved plans under SP-2023-0070D for add'l information. The proposed improvements begin approx. 2,300 feet from the intersection of Old Lockhart Road and Bradshaw Road and continue approx. 2,400 feet southeast running parallel to Old Lockhart Road. The remaining improvements will begin at the NE property line of the AISD tract and terminate at the SE property line of the MVE Venture LTD tract. The project is located in the Full Purpose jurisdiction of the City of Austin and Travis County. Estimated Amount for Solicitation: $976,750.00 African American 5.06% Hispanic American 4.36% Native/Asian American 1.45% WBE 1.94%. Located at: 10003 1/2 Old Lockhart Rd, Austin, TX in the City of Austin ETJ, Travis County. All Bids shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid guaranty in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid, as specified in Section 00100, Instructions to Bidders. Performance and payment bonds when required shall be executed on forms furnished by OWNER. Each bond shall be issued in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount by a solvent corporate surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas, and shall meet any other requirements established by law or by OWNER pursuant to applicable law. Contract Time is of the essence and all Work shall be substantially completed within Fifty (50) Working Days after date specified in the Notice to Proceed, in accordance with the Bid Form, Section 00300. Final completion shall be achieved within Twenty-Five (25) Working Days after substantial completion. Liquidated damages are One Thousand and Five Hundred dollars ($1500.00) per Working Day for failure to substantially complete the work and Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per Working Day for failure to achieve final completion within Twenty-Five (25) Working Days after substantial completion, in accordance with the Bid Form, Section 00300.
