The work of this project includes, but is not limited to, the provision of a Systemwide Fixed Route Study; identify unmet needs; complete an equity analysis; make recommendations for route restructuring; development and oversight of public outreach efforts and public hearings; and presentation to MMVTA's Board of Directors. This Project is subject to a financial assistance contract between the Agencies and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Pennsylvania Bureau of Public Transportation (PennDOT). Proposers will be required to comply with all regulations applicable to a federal and state funded procurement. MMVTA has implemented positive affirmative action procedures to ensure that all Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Small Businesses (SBE), and other Diverse Businesses (DB), including Veterans, have maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts and subcontracts financed in whole or in part, with Federal and State funds provided for in this Project. In this regard, Proposers shall take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure that DBEs, SBEs, and DBs have the maximum opportunity to compete for and perform contracts. Those DBEs, SBEs, and DBs who are prequalified are encouraged to submit proposals for this project. Those who are not prequalified are encouraged to become certified.
