ADDENDA - If any changes are made to this IFB, an addendum will be issued. Addenda will be emailed to all bidders on record as having requested the IFB. WARRANTY - All items furnished under this specification shall be new and first quality and be warranted by the seller, or through him, the manufacturer, for a period of at least one (1) year, unless otherwise specified herein, for use by the South Shore Regional School District, the original purchaser, from the date of shipment; and the seller, or the manufacturer, shall repair or replace, at no cost to the South Shore Regional School District, any item proving defective in materials, workmanship, design or improper installation. The warranty shall be in writing, in a form acceptable to the Awarding Authority and shall be delivered to the Awarding Authority prior to final payment to the Contractor is made. Bidders shall supply any brochures and/or descriptive literature on item(s) offered. If at any time during the period of one (1) year from the date of Final Acceptance, any part of such work shall in the reasonable opinion of the Awarding Authority be defective or require replacing or repairing, or damage to other property of SSRVSD is caused by any defect in the work, the Awarding Authority shall notify the Contractor in writing to make the required repairs or replacements and repair such damage. If the Contractor shall neglect to commence such repairs or replacements to the satisfaction to the Awarding Authority within ten (10) days from the date of the giving of such notice, then the Awarding Authority may employ other persons to make the same. The Contractor agrees, upon demand, to pay to the Awarding Authority all amounts which it expends for such repairs, replacements, and/or damages. This one-year guarantee shall not limit any express guarantee or warranty provided elsewhere in the Contract.
