The work shall consist of Hauling and spreading traffic gravel as per the specifications and as per the locations identified on the 2025 Gravel Map. Gravel hauling will be paid on a hourly basis and shall include loading and hauling from the R.M.s source pit, spreading of gravel on municipal roads. Spreading of traffic gravel will require belly dump or clam shell trailers only. The R.M. reserves the right to reduce the said approximate quantities and to hire multiple contractors. A bid bond or certified cheque in the amount of 10% of the total bid price shall accompany each bid. The commencement date will be May 15th , 2025 or immediately after spring road restrictions have been lifted and must be coordinated with other Municipal activities. The Contractor shall complete the spreading of gravel on all roads by July 15th , 2025.
