The RM of Meadow Lake No. 588 is accepting sealed tenders for crushing 25,000 yards of Type 106, Crushed Road Gravel to be ready for hauling on our roads in 2026. The RM would like bids on crushed gravel and will make the final decision at the meeting. The RM reserves the right to reduce or increase the said approximate quantities. The RM is accepting sealed tenders for the crushing of 25,000 yards Type 106, crushed road gravel. Pit is located on NE-23-60-18-W3. The tender must include the following: o Contractor Legal Name and Address o Bid Amount in dollars per cubic yard for crushing 25,000 yards of Type 106 crushed road gravel o Bid Amount in dollars per cubic yard for the reject gravel o Fuel Surcharge, if applicable o Tender Unit Price shall NOT include GST o Outline the equipment available to perform the work o Start and End Date o Workers Compensation Board Letter of Good Standing o Liability Insurance (minimum of 2,000,000 liability per incident) o Three Business References The RM of Meadow Lake No. 588 reserves the right to reject any or all tenders, to waive defects in any bid or tender documents, to not necessarily award the lowest tender and to accept any tender which it may consider to be in the best interest of the municipality. Late tenders will not be accepted. The awarded contractor will be required to comply with the timeline as outlined in the service agreement. Project delays shall be communicated with the RM as soon as identified. The RM reserves the right to cancel or terminate the agreement shall a delay in the project become unreasonable.
