Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fairfax, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work shall include the following: The Work as depicted in the Drawings including the demolition of an existing stream crossing, the furnishing/permitting/installation of a new bridge, installation of two storm culverts, grading, and associated trail improvements. This is a lump sum Contract. The contract length is 180 calendar days. Question Deadline 02/26/2025 All questions concerning the project shall be submitted in writing to the Fairfax County Park Authority, Park Development Division, 12055 Government Center Parkway, Suite 421, Fairfax, VA 22035 via email at kenneth.trinh@fairfaxcounty.gov at least seven days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids Bid Security must accompany each proposal in accordance with Information for Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the opening thereof. The Fairfax County Park Authority of Fairfax County, Virginia reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities in bidding, and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interest of the Fairfax County Park Authority.
