Site Address: 1900 County Road NN City: Elkhorn County: Walworth State/Province: WI Work generally includes: Various site work, select demolition, sanitary sewer & manholes, water/sewer service lines, concrete driveway improvements, gravel drive improvements, new building addition, existing building improvements, HMO feed system addition, chemical feed system improvements, various mechanical/HVAC/plumbing/electrical work, instrumentation & control upgrades, select treatment equipment rehabilitation (some alternate bid items), and various auxiliary items. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid must accompany each bid. This project will be funded by the Wisconsin DNR Safe Drinking Water Loan Program and EPA funding sources. All Contractors must adhere to the requirements of both financial programs including, but not limited to: specific procurement requirements, Davis-Bacon act and prevailing wage rates, Build America Buy America certifications, American Iron and Steel certifications, and soliciting to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. Contractors of all tiers shall be required to comply with the minimum wages and labor standards, and conditions of employment to be observed, as determined by the Davis-Bacon wage rates identified in this project. The Contractor shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in the performance of this contract. The Contractor shall carry out applicable requirements of 40 CFR Part 33 in the award and administration of contracts awarded under EPA financial assistance agreements. Failure by the Contractor to carry out these requirements is a material breach of this contract which may result in the termination of this contract or other legally available remedies. The owner encourages all Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) to submit bids for this project, either independently or in conjunction with other businesses.
