The project involves but is not limited to: road milling and delivery / placement of Superpave Warm Mix Asphalt Wearing Course, 9.5 mm mix, 1-1/2-inch compacted depth for various roads in the township, including base repair. Contractor shall place a sign at each end of the project site detailing the start & end dates a minimum of 5 days prior to the start of work. Saw cut / mill pavement joints (all locations including driveways if applicable). Full width milling 1-1/2 inches minimum depth. Mill additional depth, if necessary. (See following pages) Contractor shall adjust all water valves if necessary with adjustment rings provided by the Township. Complete Base Repair as directed by the Township representative.(See procedure on the following pages). Sweep and Tack Coat roadway surface prior to paving. Deliver and place Leveling Course as directed by the Township representative. Deliver and place 1-1/2 inches of Wearing Course. Sealing of all joints, edges and utilities is incidental to paving. Paint 4" double yellow, and 4" single white waterborne pavement markings on Taylor Road. Alternate Bid #2: Removal of temporary stone base to a depth of 4". 2.5" Binder Course 1.5" Wearing Course Base Bid Roadways: Taylor Road - From Peck Road to Spring Run Lane - full road width.
