The City of Lompoc is currently soliciting bids for multi-year requirements for Water Treatment Plant polymers per the attached specifications. The City desires to enter into a triannual contract with one supplier to furnish and deliver on as "as needed basis", dry powder, granular Water Treatment polymers. Liquid forms will not be considered at this time. Product similar to Praestol 2515TR or Magna Floc and Praestol 2540TR or equal. ESTIMATED ANNUAL USAGE. Average annual requirements are estimated to be 20,000 pounds per year. These requirements are estimates only and the City will not pay more than the price awarded if the actual requirements are more or less than those estimated. TERM AGREEMENT: The contract term will be for three (3) years, commencing March 1, 2025 through February 29, 2028, with option to renew for two (2) additional years with the mutual consent of both parties. Successful Vendor warrants that material to be furnished is one of the purity and content specified herein and that the material to be furnished is substantially equal to the sample submitted for testing. The plant from which the material will be furnished must produce sample. Samples made in a laboratory are not acceptable. The City reserves the right to request additional samples for evaluation purposes. Prices shall remain valid for ninety (90) days from date of opening and be inclusive. Proposals submitted may be withdrawn by written request received BEFORE the hour set for opening. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the time set for opening.
