Site work and paving for a civil project in Humphrey, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The proposed project consists of 2 phases, each phase is more thoroughly described as: Division I - Water, Sewer, & Storm Sewer Improvements - Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidental items to construct PVC DR18 water main, PVC SDR26 sanitary sewer main, RCP storm sewer, valves, fire hydrants, fittings, manholes, inlets, and other miscellaneous items to the lines and grades shown on the plans. Division II - Paving Improvements - Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to construct 7-inch PC concrete paving along with subgrade preparation, and other necessary appurtenances required to construct the project in accordance with the plans. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE OF COST Division I - Water, Sewer, & Storm Sewer = $285,000 Division II - Paving = $310,000 1.2. The Owner intends to issue one Contract for each Division of work performed. The Owner will issue (2) separate contracts. 1.3. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids, and to waive any irregularities in bidding. 1.4. It is the responsibility of the contractor to fully examine the plans and specifications for the project and include all labor, materials, and cost of equipment that will be included in the construction of the project. 1.5. The bidder shall not qualify bids in any manner. 1.6. Bids submitted to the owner shall remain current for a period of 35 days. 1.7. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 35 days without written consent from the Owner. Bidders shall submit a bid security certificate in the amount of 5% of the grand total base bid with all bids. 3.2. In lien of a bid security certificate, the Bidders may submit a certified check in the amount of 5% of the grand total base bid. The certified check shall be made out to the Owner. 3.3. Checks and bid securities shall be returned to unsuccessful bidders. 4. Payment and Performance Bonds 4.1. The successful bidder shall be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of the sum of the contract.
