Supply and installation of 100 ft communication towers. 1 The work specified herein shall include the furnishing of all materials, equipment, labor, mounting hardware, necessary supervision and performing all operations to provide a complete freestanding tower installation. 2 The freestanding tower height is 100 ft. 3 The labor specified herein includes but is not limited to engineering, software, development, fabrication, equipment installation, testing, and documentation. 4 The manufacturing, construction and installation of the tower and its associated equipment shall comply with CAN/CSA-S37-18. 5 Tower documentation shall include construction, installation, and maintenance drawings. 6 A registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) shall approve all drawings. The structure shall meet and comply with all guidelines and codes based on the loads and location. Bid bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid price. The scope of work for this evaluation included drilling twenty-one (21) boreholes to a depth of 12.6 m, a laboratory program to assist in classifying subsurface soils and a report providing the following design and construction recommendations: Design parameters for tower foundations. Concrete type for structural elements in contact with soils. Site classification for seismic site response. Special considerations for fill, if encountered on the site. Recommendations for mitigation for groundwater, if encountered. This interim report addresses the first eleven tower sites.
