The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of: (a) Pulvimixing and cement stabilization of gravel surface back lanes (See APPENDIX A for maps of locations noted below). (i) Location 1 St David Rd from Hull Ave to Fermor Ave - East Side of St David Rd (ii) Location 2 Fernwood Ave from St David Rd to St George Rd - South Side of Fernwood Ave (iii) Location 3 Thorndale Ave from St Mary’s Rd to St David Rd - South Side of Thorndale Ave (Include East Side of St Mary’s Rd from Frederick Ave to Thorndale Ave) (iv) Location 4 Havelock Ave from St Mary’s Rd to Neepawa St - South Side of Havelock Ave (Include East Side of St Mary’s Rd from Portland Ave to Havelock Ave) (v) Location 5 St Vital Rd from St Vital Rd to Tod Dr - North Side of St Vital Rd (vi) Location 6 Kingston Row from Edinburgh St to Killarney St - South Side of Kingston Row (vii) Location 7 Kingston Cr from Riverdale Ave to East Limit - South Side of Kingston Cr (viii) Location 8 Kingston Cr from West Limit to Riverdale Ave - South Side of Kingston Cr (ix) Location 9 Eldridge Ave from West Limit to Laxdal Rd - North Side of Eldridge Ave (b) Daylighting and sampling of alternate locations to replace any above locations deemed unsuitable for cement stabilization due to in-situ material or utilities (See APPENDIX B for maps of locations noted below). (i) Alternate 1 Larche Cr from Larche Cr to Larche Cr - East Side of Larche Cr (ii) Alternate 2 Regent Ave from Roanoke St to Leola St - North Side of Regent Ave (iii) Alternate 3 Stranmillis Ave from Des Meurons St to Eggerton Rd - South Side of Stranmillis St (Include West Side of Eggerton Rd from Stranmillis Ave to Imperial Ave) D2.2 The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Provide a mix design for each type of soil; (b) Submit and attain underground clearances; (c) Daylighting of the location and depths of utilities; (d) Traffic control; (e) Garbage and recycling collection; (f) Blending of Portland and Duraflex cementitious materials; (g) Pulverise the top three hundred (300)mm of the gravel surface; (h) Apply blended cement to pulverized gravel surface; (i) Mix cement, soil and water and compact to a dense surface; (j) Final profile of gravel surface must meet detailed drawing grades or as determined by the Contract Administrator; and (k) The Contractor is responsible for the removal or placement of material to achieve proposed design profile. The Bidder shall include in their Bid Submission bid security in the form of a digital bid bond, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price A) a Performance Bond of a Company Registered to Conduct the Business of a Surety in Manitoba, Form H1 Performance Bond, in the Amount of Fifty Percent (50%) of the Contract Price; and (B) a Labour and Material Payment Bond of a Company Registered to Conduct the Business of a Surety in Manitoba, Form H2 Labour and Material Bond, in an Amount Equal to Fifty Percent (50%) of the Contract Price.
