King George County Old Middle School Demolition The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to establish a firm fixed price, from qualified sources, for the Demolition and legal disposal of the Old King George County Middle School in accordance with all industry standards, code requirements, safety and environmental standards. Questions: All questions must be submitted in writing directly to the King George County Procurement Specialist at the address referenced above. Questions will be accepted until 1:00 PM, March 4th, 2025. Questions may be sent by fax or email. King George County on behalf of the King George County Service Authority, a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia and a body politic, herein referred to as KGC, desires to obtain bids for King George County Old Middle School Demolition, located at 8562 Dahlgren Road. The Purpose and Intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to establish a firm fixed price, from qualified sources, for the Demolition and legal disposal of the Old King George County Middle School in accordance with all industry standards, code requirements, safety and environmental standards. The bidder shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, drawings, permitting, clean-up, disturbed area stabilization and all appurtenances and items required for obtaining all approvals and permits required to perform the work. All work shall be completed within ninety (90) consecutive calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. KGC reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive any informality and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed, in the sole opinion of KGC, to be in its best interest. KGC reserves the right to make the sole determination of whether the product/service offered meets the required level of quality and is acceptable. KGC's decision shall be final.
