For metal roof restoration on the City of Minonk Public Works building (202 W. 10th St. Minonk, IL 61760). Please note that the City of Minonk reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive the technicalities therein, and to award the bid in the City s best interest. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Mobilize to the job site and set up equipment following all OSHA guidelines and requirements. > Clean roofofdebris and use an industrial cleaner or acid alongside a 3,000psi or higherpressure washer to remove scum and buildup ofthe entire roof. > Apply a rust inhibiting primer over the entire roofto eliminate more rust and ensure the coating will adhere well. > Tighten, replace, and seal all screws with fastener grade caulk or seam tape on all screws and metal lap seams. > Use fastener grade caulk or seam tape around all roofpipes and protrusions. > Apply a White acrylic-elastomeric topcoat at a minimum rate of 2 gallons per square or more over the entire roof. > Must have a 10-year material and at least a 2-year labor warranty. > According to the Prevailing Wage Act, the City ofMinonk requires contractors to pay Prevailing Wage for Public Works construction projects.
