Benzie County is inviting qualified cleaning agencies and their teams (herein referred to Agency) to submit a bid for consideration to provide cleaning services in the buildings of the Benzie County Governmental Campus at 448 Court Place. These services would include the cleaning of offices, common areas and meeting rooms in the Governmental Center and Sheriff's Office. The Agency shall provide all cleaning services and Benzie County will provide all equipment. The Agency is responsible for general areas, office areas, meeting rooms, and lobby in both the Governmental Center and Sheriff's Office. Services includes, but are not limited to: 1. Empty wastebaskets, replace liner, recycle material in proper receptacles (if applicable) 2. Dust and disinfect (where appropriate) furniture, windowsills, and common areas. 3. Vacuum carpeting and runners daily 4. Damp mop all tile floors 5. Clean with sanitary spray and polish to a shine all dispensers, mirrors, sinks, and faucets 6. Wipe clean and polish all splash areas 7. Scrub toilet and urinal interiors with a liquid abrasive and flush afterwards 8. Fill paper towel dispensers and add toilet paper to holders. Leave one extra roll of toilet paper in each stall 9. Sweep floor, apply solution, clean around wall, under toilets and urinals. Wet mop entire floor surface 10. Clean and sanitize drinking fountains and door handles 11. Clean and remove fingerprints from door glass and interior office windows, and from all glass-topped furniture 12. Remove trash recycling to appropriate outside dumpster 13. Inspect area; secure doors and lights (doors found locked shall be re-locked) 14. Clean windows, leaving them streak free Benzie County reserves the right to waive any informality or defect in any proposal, to accept any proposal or parts thereof or to reject any or all proposals, should it deem it to be in the best interest of Benzie County to do so. The County reserves the right to revise the contents of the proposal and to negotiate all aspects of this proposal and any future agreement with the successful firm of the County's choice. The County further accepts no responsibility for expenses which may be incurred in the preparation of such proposals. The selected agency shall be expected to comply with all applicable State and Federal laws in the performance of services. Submittals to the County are considered public information. The County has the right to disclose information contained in the submittals. The County further reserves the right to photocopy, circulate or otherwise distribute any material submitted in response to the Request for Proposal (R.F.P.). Original materials which the consultant may wish returned shall be clearly marked to be returned to them.
