Site work and paving for a road / highway in Columbus, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The following: Road Paving; AC-5 Asphalt; AC-10 Asphalt; CRS-2 Emulsion; *MC-30 Road Oil; *Seal Coat Sealers; Road Materials; Culverts; and *Herbicides (*or proven equal acceptable to Commissioners) for all county precincts. Bidders for the road paving shall include in their bid proof of Workers' Compensation Insurance and General Liability Insurance Coverage in the amount of one million dollars ($1,000,000). The successful Bidder for the road paving will be required to furnish a Performance Bond if the contract is in excess of $100,000 and a Payment Bond if the contract is in excess of $25,000. For those contracts for road paving that are $50,000 or less no money will be paid to the Contractor until completion and acceptance of the work. Road paving Bidders will be required to provide a bid bond for five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Bidder will use lump sum or unit pricing as per specifications. Payment will be made upon receipt of invoice after delivery and proper processing by Commissioners Court. Colorado County reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to reject any and all bids and to accept any bid advantageous to the County *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
