**As of January 14, 2025, Toepperwein Air Conditioning was awarded with the amount of $192,723.82. The anticipated start date is January 2025 and completion date is anticipated as March 2025. JAIL RTUs REPLACEMENT COLORADO COUNTY, TEXAS (Owner) is requesting lump sum sealed competitive proposals from qualified Contractors, General Contractors, or Mechanical Contractors capable of providing all work related to the replacement of roof-top air conditioning units (Jail RTUs Replacement Project) at the Colorado County Jail, located at 2215 Walnut Street, Columbus, Texas, in accordance with Government Code, Section 2269.151. The Project consists of repairs to the steel plate walls at pipe chases, and the replacement of plumbing pipes, valves and other items, as defined and described in the Specifications and Drawings accompanying this Request for Proposals. The budget for this Project is $130,000.00. The Work consists of, but is not limited to: replacement of rooftop air-conditioning and heating units (RTUs) with related equipment and outside air intakes as indicated, scheduled, and described on the Mechanical Drawings. 5% bid bond. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds required. Payments to be made monthly to selected Contractor based on 95% of work completed. Award of bid will be based on evaluation criteria stated in the proposal documents in accordance with Texas Government Code, Section 2269.154. Owner may hold proposals for 60 days. Question Deadline 12/05/2024 All interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by DRG Architects, LLC and approved by the Owner, in response to the Offeror's request, will be issued by written Addenda.
