Site work, remodeling and renovation of a road / highway in Chimacum, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Replace asphalt for truck loading area. Extend asphalt area into gravel area to provide larger area for material handling equipment to safely load and unload trucks. 1. Coordinate with ET prior to commencement of work. 2. Demolish and remove existing asphalt. 3. Excavate area to extend new asphalt area as shown in Attachment #2. Re-locate existing swale as necessary to accommodate new asphalt area and provide necessary drainage. 4. Grade and compact subgrade to accommodate 6” of ¾”crushed surfacing and 4” of asphalt pavement. 5. Install and compact 6” of ¾” crushed surfacing. Compaction testing to be completed prior to installing asphalt. 6. Install 4” of hot mix asphalt pavement in accordance with WSDOT M 41-10 chapter 5-04 hot mix asphalt, compact to 91.5% theoretical maximum density. 7. Plant new grass seed over bare dirt areas for erosion control. 8. Upon completion of the work, the Contractor shall inform the ET to demonstrate operational tests
