Vegetation abatement contract for vegetation removal to support Solid Waste Management services, ensuring safe and efficient work environments with clear access to collection areas and other essential locations. The City of Tacoma (City) is soliciting bids to establish one or more contracts with qualified vendors to fulfill the City's needs for vegetation abatement services on an as needed basis. Contract(s) will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s) based on price, product quality and availability. The primary user of this contract will be by used by the Environmental Services Department (ES) Solid Waste Management (SWM) Division; however, other City departments may have a need for this type of service. The estimated annual usage is forty (40) to fifty (50) service requests each year at approximately four (4) hours per job. This is an estimated quantity only and does not guarantee a specific volume or dollar amount. Estimate: $500,000 Paid Sick Leave: The City of Tacoma requires all employers to provide paid sick leave in accordance with Washington State law.
