Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ramapo, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following:The proposed work includes the installation of sidewalks, uniform shoulder width, curbing, a maintenance area between back of curb and sidewalk, and retaining walls where necessary to limit impact to adjacent properties along NYS Route 306. The project limits are from the intersection of Rita Avenue and NYS Route 306 (approx. mile marker 306 85011011) to the intersection of Route 306/Viola Road (approx. mile marker 306 85011019) within the Town of Ramapo, Rockland County. The bringing of the project near Rita Avenue resides in the Village of Kaser. Viola Road is Rockland County Route 74 (CR 74). The project is a Locally Administered Federal Aid Project and NYSDOT Standard Specifications, officially finalized and adopted on September 1, 2024, as posted on the New York State Department of Transportation's website MUST be followed by the successful bidder. Cash will not be acceptable as a deposit. The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish Performance, Payment and Guarantee Bonds from an acceptable Surety Company for an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid. The successful Bidder and all subcontractors must have an approved CCA2 on file with NYSDOT prior to being awarded a contract. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program goal for the project is 10%. EEO Goals for the project are 22.6% Minority and 6.9% Female. M/WBE and SDVOB language is not included. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within forty-five (45) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. All bids are subject to final review and approval before any award of contract may be made. Receipt of bids by the Town of Ramapo shall not be construed as authority to bind the Town of Ramap The work will be substantially completed and ready for final payment on June 1, 2026.
