Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Kissimmee, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 15,000-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; 250-space parking garage; and parking garage.
Diana Marrero-Pinto, executive director for Kissimmee Main Street, said during the meeting an anonymous survey of businesses and residents showed many wanted to see more parking and wider sidewalks on the new Broadway streetscape revamp. This work — known as Connect Kissimmee — would reduce Broadway from four lanes to two to allow for parallel parking to be converted to angled spaces and more spacious sidewalks. The City of Kissimmee is seeking sealed bids for the following: RFQ2025-001 Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Building and Prefabricated Parking Garage Architectural Design Services
