Renovation of an educational facility in Huntsville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
From General Contractors to provide all materials, labor & equipment necessary to replace the gym floor & wall padding at Jones Valley Elementary School. Bidders are to be licensed in the City of Huntsville, County of Madison, Alabama and must possess all insurance as required in the bid documents. A certified check or bid bond payable to Huntsville City Schools in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidders proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required before work can commence. - Demo and dispose of existing gym flooring. Each bidder must obtain their own measurements. - Demo and dispose of existing wall base. - Complete minor prep work to the existing substrate after demo of existing flooring. - RH moisture testing of existing substrate prior to installation. - Furnish and install new Mondo Advance 8mm PRO, (or approved equal,) athletic flooring (approx. 5,160 SF), - Furnish and install vent cove base - Furnish and install one (1) set of volleyball sleeves and cover plates. - Furnish and paint game lines for two (2) side basketball courts, four 4 square courts, one main volleyball court, 40' diameter circle, one set of squares/ladder drill to include numbers 1-14, one set of squares/ladder drill to include letters A-Z and 98 each 2" x 2" dots (no decals or stickers allowed for this application, paint only. All game lines need to be 2" thick).
