Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The improvement includes earthwork, subdrain and drainage improvements, Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement and curb, electrical conduit, playground and park equipment, landscaping, erosion control and surface restoration, and other incidental items, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 673- 269/290, located near the intersection of E. 9th Street and E. Douglas Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa. Work on each improvement shall be commenced upon approval of the contract by the Council, and completed as stated below. This project shall be fully completed not later than September 24, 2025. Preletting Conference. None. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. Overall Annual DBE/TSB Goal for this project is 5.72%
