Removal of existing dugouts at Saydel High School baseball field. Both dugouts will be replaced with new recessed CMU dugouts with shed roofs and new concrete slabs. Each dugout will be equipped with new lighting, power, and a bottle filling station. One dugout will include an attached storage room equipped with an overhead door. Doc Note - Bid Documents are available from Beeline and Blue 2507 Ingersoll Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa (515.244.1611). A deposit of $25.00 per set is required, which will be refunded upon return of the documents, in good and reusable condition, within seven (7) days from the date of the bid opening. The refundable deposit may be in the form of a company or personal check, or a plan room deposit card. The Bid Proposal shall be made on the Bid Formincluded within the Project Manual. Oral, facsimile, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will not be considered. Construction Timeline: Construction to begin after receipt of signed contracts and after the completion of Saydel's 2025 baseball season. Substantial Completion Date October 24, 2025 and Final Completion Date November 21, 2025. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid in the form of a Bid Bond on form AIA A310, cashier's check, certified share draft or certified check drawn on an Iowa bank or credit union chartered under the laws of the United States shall accompany each bid in a separate, sealed envelope. Bid Security shall be payable to Saydel Community School District. Upon award of a contract, the successful Contractor will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the awarded Contract amount, and within the time set forth within the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall also furnish a copy of its Certificate(s) of Insurance showing coverage is being provided consistent with that stated within the Project Manual. However, the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract deemed to be in the best interests of the Saydel Community School District.
